Love is us, we are Love

God is us, we are God

What did Jesus say in John10:34?  See here for more detail – exert below.

33  “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

34  Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”‘?

35  If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came–and Scripture cannot be set aside–

36  do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God ‘?

37  “If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;

38 but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.”

39  Therefore they were seeking again to seize Him, and He eluded their grasp.

Simplified version:

Jesus says to the non-believers…

“Doesn’t God say in the Old Testament ‘You are Gods?’  So therefore, I am the Son of God.  God is in Me, and I am in God”

The same could be said for all of us.

I happen to believe I am Love.  I believe you are Love.  I believe we are all Love.

We are all Love.  We are all one in unity.  We are all what is called ‘God’.  The concept of all unified existence IS ‘God’.

I believe that this is what Jesus was communicating to people at the time.

For almost my entire life, I alternated between labeling myself as an atheist or agnostic.  But, that was all predicated on my belief that ‘God’ was some remote entity in a place called ‘Heaven’.  These are pretty childish notions used to communicate with us when we were children (you know…literally children 5 or 6 yrs old).  As we mature, it is possible to conceive of God and Heaven in a more spiritual sense.  I suppose that you could tell children the same thing.  My point is that in the secular or non-secular home we were raised in, we were likely told that either ‘God’ does not exist, or that if ‘he’ does, it is in a ‘place’ called ‘heaven’.  This does not really make much sense from a spiritual aspect.  God certainly isn’t a he OR a she, God is merely a 3 letter word used to describe a concept of infinite and all present Love that we come from, are, and will always be part of.  It is my suspicion that when the word was created – long before anything was written down, it was a spiritual concept that morphed through the centuries to be used by those in positions of political power who sought to control and influence people.
